Abdullah has over 4 years of experience working in private equity, asset management, and the financial services. Prior to joining Baltoro in 2019, he worked as an Investment Analyst at Alfalah GHP Investment Management Limited in Karachi, covering banking, insurance and economy for over a year. Before that, he was an Assistant Manager in the Financial Reporting Team at PTCL, where he was tasked to lead the implementation of IFRS 9 on the company’s books back in 2017.
Abdullah is currently a Level 3 Candidate of the CFA professional qualification and holds a BS. in Accounting and Finance from NUST Business School. During his final year, he led his university team at the CFA Institute Research Challenge, and won the ‘Outstanding Investment Research’ award at the Local Final
